U.S. construction spending fell 0.3 pct in June

(Reuters) - Private nonresidential construction rose 0.3 percent to a
$347 billion annual rate, a record high.




But private residential construction slipped 0.7 percent to
a $544 billion annual rate, the lowest level since March 2004.
